JOEY RAMONE BIRTHDAY BASH 2014:
In page four you got chance to read few quotes from my first book Heaven Needed A Lead Singer: Fans Remember Joey Ramone, which you can also find on Interpunk here.
Sherry Globman had wrote those quotes on page four from Joey Ramone's Christmas Bash, it was at The Continental on December 11, 2000. And now you can read some of quotes he wrote to my first book of Evil Presly's birthday party at Manitoba's on December 12, 2000, of Joey Ramone's final live performance. So here are few quotes from text Sherry Globman wrote to Heaven Needed A Lead Singer: Fans Remember Joey Ramone:
December 12: "This show was to celebrate Evil Presly's birthday and a celebration it certainly was! Not only did the crowd come out to help ring in Evil's new year, but so did Joey Ramone and his brother Mickey Leigh. The Independents played a jammin, extra long set for the crowd and kept them riled up for Evil's birthday till almost 2AM. The crowd not only got to see a great performance by The Independents but a surprise set of Ramones songs with Joey himself. I doubt Evil will ever forget this birthday celebration.", wrote Globman.
In a photo in upmost you can see Evil Presly and great and friendly fans from Argentina: brothers Javier Goyogana and Julio Goyogana and Sapo Ramone.
In a photo in middle you can see John Holmstrom and Ramones' fans Thomas Goze (Thomaxe) and Joe Finnegan.
Thomas was also playing this night together with David Peel. First time I E-mailed with Thomaxe was probably around 2005. Around five years ago he played bass in The Gonedaddys for example with Skinny Bones. Some of you might remember Skinny Bones from Marky Ramone And The Intruders. He wrote many good songs with Marky, like to Marky Ramone And The Intruders debut album I Wants My Beer and Anxiety. Ramones recorded Anxiety earlier to Mondo Bizarro (1992) album. In all there are three songs on Ramones albums written by Marky and Skinny: Anxiety, The Job That Ate My Brain and Have A Nice Day.
Many fans doesn't know of Marky Ramone And The Intruders as Marky doesn't want to speak of that band, expect he told in 2011 that debut is gonna re-release soon including some special stuff. That is not happen. Few times Marky has asked me to remove from my site all information of Marky Ramone And The Intruders. Of course I won't do that because Marky Ramone And The Intruders is part of his history and band was active 4-5 years. Information of first shows by the Marky Ramone And The Intruders are on my site from October-December 1996. I has founded my site on 1995.
I went off from track a bit but I want to share information. So Thomaxe played with David Peel. I missed their set because of Diane Gentile.
Peel has been in music business since late 60's. This is pretty interesting piece from his career on Wikipedia: "David Peel was rediscovered by John Lennon in 1971 as the early seventies continued its swing towards the youth revolution. Lennon befriended Peel when David was playing with his ragtag hippie band in New York's Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village. Lennon produced The Pope Smokes Dope for Peel. This album was banned in many countries and since has been sought after by collectors worldwide."

I was really, really, really happy to see many old friends and meet for the first time people who I have known through internet. You can see some of them in this page and in page 5.
Before going to The Bowery Electric I was having great time at The Manitoba's with Joe Finnegan, Lin, P.J. McGowan, Anu Aaltonen, Ilkka Aaltonen etc. That photo is lowest on this site.
It is funny that you have known person for a long time but can't remember his or her name. Like I have met and spoke 5-8 times with a man who has Sic F*cks T-shirt in these fan photos. Please inform your name if you read this or some other knows his name.
