MAIN PAGE OF MY RAMONES HOMEPAGE.
Kepi Ghoulie of the Groovie Ghoulies played with Dog Party (duo)
and Atom Bomb as a support band before CJ Ramone Band went on stage at
Edone in Bergamo, Italy on July 5, 2012. Dog Party
(USA) is a band of sisters Gwendolyn Giles (16 years young) and Lucy
Giles (14). So they played with Kepi and Atom Bomb. Here you
can see photos of them and also cool photo of Ramones fan having photo
of his sons. Photo is autographed now by CJ Ramone and Marky
Ramone.
Now I will go a little bit back to history...
Groovie Ghoulies (USA) and its horror inspired pop-punk music is
familiar to many older Ramones fans. Kepi was front-man. The first
single from the Groovie Ghoulies saw daylight in 1986. Groovie Ghoulies
disbanded in 2007.
Gabba
Gabba Hey: A Tribute To The Ramones is the title of the first
Ramones tribute album released in 1991 by Triple X Records and Groovie
Ghouls covered to it Pet Sematary.
I met with Kepi for the first time, but we had been in touch already in
early 2000's. You can find his Ramones memorial text from my second book
Rock In Peace:
Dee Dee And Joey Ramone.
