PHOTOS:
I do live in Finland (North Europe)
and after or before my trips to the USA, I love to visit some exotic
countries.
After Joey Ramone Birthday Bash 2010 I traveled to Costa Rica etc. This
year, 2011, I wanted to travel to some Caribbean island. Airfares were
pretty
expensive to many smaller Caribbean islands and I didn't want to go to
Jamaica etc. I want to experience real nature outside of tourist
places.
ST. LUCIA...
After 15-20 hours of searching I found a OK deal.
Airfare was 548 US dollars to St. Lucia and back to New York. St.
Lucia is small country located between Saint Vincent and Martinique.
Country has a population of 174 000. I can honestly recommend island to
people who doesn't wanna get in the middle of tourists. St. Lucia wasn't
dangerous country. I really got experienced cloud rainforests
etc.
Two upmost photos in this page are taken in St. Lucia. General cloud

ICELAND...
I booked second time stopover and when returning to
Europe I stayed one week in
Iceland. Airplane company Icelandair offer chance to stay in Iceland
before or after trip to North America for no additional airfare. Iceland
is island as is St. Lucia, but so different to each other. Read here of
exotic Iceland.
You can see two photos I was taken next to geyser, in first photo it
is preparing to erupt and in next moment it is erupting in full power.
One photo of me swimming (and mud in a face) is taken in huge geothermal
spa named Blue
Lagoon.
People who you can see in lowest photo in left are Ieunn Magnusdottir
and Valgarour Guajonsson. I met Valgarour for the first time but we have
known each other since 90's. He is singer-guitarist in a Icelandic band
named
Fraebbblarnir. Fraebbblarnir were formed in 1978 and people who has read
my first book Heaven Needed A
Lead Singer: Fans Remember Joey Ramone or is familiar with tribute
album Life's A
Gas: A Tribute To Joey Ramone, might remember Valgarour and
Fraebbblarnir. Tribute album got published by Canadian label AMP
Records, owned by Larry Retard.
Fraebbblarnir has on this tribute
album song called Heaven Needed A Lead Singer (they used this my
generated title with my permission), it's beautiful song and lyrics are
really touching.
After Iceland I returned to Finland. Here was a
story of my trip in May-June, 2011.
