1) BACKGROUND DETAILS CJ RAMONE'S FOURTH SOLO ALBUM THE HOLY SPELL... (2019)
Release date of CJ Ramone's fourth solo album: May 10,
2019.Album is named The Holy Spell... and it has 12 songs. Record label is again mighty Fat Wreck Chords. CJ Ramone, guitarist Dan Root, guitarist Nate Sander and drummer Pete Sosa entered Buzzbomb Studios in early January, 2019.
- I am here making good on my promise to myself that I'd never release anything as CJ Ramone that would taint the Ramones legacy, CJ said in January 2019.
Producer is Paul Miner. Buzzbomb Studios is located in Orange, Orange County, California, USA. Also previous album American Beauty (2017) was recorded there.
Also drummer David Hidalgo Jr. did visit studio in January 2019 and I do not know if he plays in one song? CJ wrote many songs for this record for example in December.
The album closes with a tribute to CJ's late collaborator Steve Soto with the song Rock On. It start with sad feelings but soon Rock On turns to tight punkrock spirit.
- Steve really has a lot to do with where I am now, and every record, Steve was right there with me. He is completely irreplaceable. I owe Steve a lot. It's definitely strange going on without him, but even though he's not on the record, a lot of what we learned from Steve is still on the record, CJ Ramone underline.

single was released on March 11, 2019 and Stand Up single on April 17, 2019.
After listening album more than ten times, I can easily say there would had been 3-4 better choices to single tracks. Anyway album has really many catchy songs like opening track One High One Low is killer one. And guitar solos works well. Nice surprise is Hands Of Time. It is acoustic song full of touchy feelings. You can hear on it different kind of CJ.
