INTERVIEW WITH BAD RELIGION OF THEIR RAMONES MEMORIES (1997)

Copyright© since 1997 -> for everything in this page b: Jari-Pekka Laitio-Ramone and Anssi Autio.

I got a chance to do "RAMONES" interview with BAD RELIGION's CREG HETSON in my hometown festival Nummirock in 1997, where Ramones played in 1992 and 1994.
Also my friend Anssi Autio asked some of my questions from BAD RELIGION's singer Greg Graffin.

Like many Ramones fans knows, Bad Religion has made a tribute song to the Ramones.
They recorded We're A Happy Family song to GABBA GABBA HEY - RAMONES TRIBUTE ALBUM.

FOLLOWING QUESTIONS ARE ASKED BY MY FRIEND ANSSI AUTIO WHO IS ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS RADIO PERSON IN FINLAND.

Question: How did you choosed We're A Happy Family.
Greg Graffin: Because I think it's a one of the best songs. One we did it. This one was my favourite Ramones song. Just because it's so sarcastic. They aren't happy family. Everyone in America is supposed to believe they have a happy family.

Question: What was the influence of Ramones to punk?
Greg Graffin: They were the first fast song band. They were an institution. They was a timeless band and that's what Bad Religion like modelled after. They continued so long to do great music. Unfortunately they ran out of steam in the end of their career, but I think we can continue.

Question: There's a finnish band called Paha Uskonto which s coverband. Bad Religion mean Paha Uskonto.
Greg Graffin: Oh I'd love to hear it.

THANKS TO ANSSI AUTIO OF MAKING THESE LAST QUESTIONS
