MARKY RAMONE'S OLD BAND: MARKY RAMONE AND
THE
INTRUDERS
BACK
MARKY RAMONE HAD SINCE MID 90'S TO 2000
BAND CALLED MARKY RAMONE AND THE
INTRUDERS. I WANNA KEEP ON MY SITE ARCHIVED INFORMATION AS WELL OF OLD
BANDS WHAT RAMONES MEMBERS HAD. THEY ARE PART OF HISTORY. AND WITHOUT MY
PAGE LOT OF INFORMATION WOULD GET LOST.
After Marky Ramone And The Intruders Marky's next band was
MARKY
RAMONE & THE SPEEDKINGS
UPDATE 2011:
Marky Ramone told in July, 2011, that Marky Ramone And The Intruders
is
gonna re-released soon including some special stuff.
BACK TO OLD INFORMATION:
On summer 2000 Marky was working on third Marky Ramone And
The Intruders album. In September-October, 2000, they had a tour
in South-America. See tour dates
here.
Also was told, the
previous Russian tour was documented and available for purchase in the
near future. After band quit, documentary never see daylight.
In final days, Ben Trokan who shared vocals with Johnny Pisano
quit the Marky Ramone And The Intruders because
of commitments that he made to finish his college education. Marky
knew this in advance. Ben had joined group at 19 years old. Ben
still helped write songs to contribute for the Marky Ramone And The
Intruders' 3rd album. Before band quit, Ben still had planned to play in
some
tours.
New front man was Alex Crank. No drug problems, no stage fright and no
commitments outside the band, as was written (later infos: Alex Crank
passed away in December, 2008. Alex was
suffering from ALS for the past 7 years, and that was reason why he
passed away).
Marky Ramone And The Intruders name had changed to the Marky Ramone
Group for a little while, but it was changed back. There was another band
called the Intruders from 1973 who had some disco hits, but who
cares?
Marky Ramone And The Intruders was doing a video of One Way
Ride.

MESSAGE FROM THE MARKY:
EUROPEAN
TOUR IN 2000
"Hey everybody, the tour in Europe (2000) kicked fucking ass! Three
times as many people as the last tour. The tour bus kicked ass. The
parties were great
and we entered into a blizzard in Oslo where it was 15 degrees below zero
and 80 mph winds, but we still did the show. I want to thank everyone who
came out to the shows and the great European reviews to my album "The
Answer to Your Problems?". Italy and Germany and Scandinavia also Greece
were fucking rocking! Wanna thank the promoters and everybody involved
for making this the most successful tour of Europe. We're already at this
point planning another one within the next eight months."
SOUTH-AMERICA VIDEO ETC.:
Marky brought his video camera for last South America tour (as he
always does for every tour), and he says he got enough incredible footage.
These videos will have three hours worth of footage of the Intruders in
South America
1999. There are big, enthusiastic crowds down there, and
great shows. This was shot on Mark's Hi-8 video camera, the same camera he
used to shoot Ramones Around The World. Each tape will be autographed by
the band. The tapes will cost $15, plus shipping and handling. Marky
expected to be selling them around the beginning of March, but it didn't
happened.
SECOND ALBUM: THE ANSWER TO YOUR PROBLEMS
The Marky Ramone And The Intruders released their 2nd album.
The Answer To Your Problems album got released in July, 1999, album has
songs
like Cry Baby, Under The Gun, Probation, Peek Hole,
No One Likes You, What If, Don't Think About it, Don't Blame Me,

Joan Jett sings on one
song called Don't Blame Me.
It was recorded at Coyote studios, same place Rancid recorded Life Won't
Wait. Not only that, but Lars Frederiksen (of Rancid) co-produced the

Check out old show dates
and also member to check
some
gig reviews.
DEBUT ALBUM:
Marky released a great debut
album with his with band called Marky Ramone And The Intruders in
1996. Album has 13 songs. One song in that
album is called Anxiety, what Ramones had
released before in
Mondo Bizarro (1992).
Songs in debut album Marky co-written with Skinny Bones
(formerly of La Vista Hotheads) and Mark Neuman (formerly of Sheer
Terror). Marky produced album. In South America this album was released
with 3 Cheers For You in Spanish language. Japan version has extra song
Boomerang.
Skinny bones was first singer but he was replaced by Todd Youth. Todd was
formerly in Murphy's Law. Todd Youth quit from Marky's band. Skinny
Bones returned and The Intruders
opened for the Misfits 5 times, with Skinny Bones. JC wrote to me review. At last Skinny
quit again.
Ratboy
was in the band for 8 month. Ratboy had next group called Sour Jazz.
In St. Louis (May 22, 1997) happened accident and Johnny Pisano's hand
was injured. They cancelled some gigs then.
Ben Large wrote to me and unfortunately he left the band after The
Intruders played a string of shows opening up for the Misfits in the US.
Ben told that the shows were great and Jerry Only from the Misfits hopped
up to sing Ramones' cover I Don't Care a couple of
times with Marky Ramone And The Intruders. Next Ben Large was
playing in Murphy's Law.
Marky Ramone And The Intruders were included on Warped Tour
'98.
Marky Ramone And The Intruders had also few
official fan clubs.
