The Yellow Melodies is an indiepop band from Murcia, Spain, and they did a special Ramones cover album. They covered Pleasant Dreams. The Ramones released it in 1981 and The Yellow Melodies cover version of it 40 years later, 2021.
CD has every 12 tracks from Pleasant Dreams and also three bonus tracks. CD booklet has 16 pages. The Yellow Melodies do use a lot synthesizers and electric feelings. A beautiful album in which The Yellow Melodies have not tried to do the same Ramones sound as so many punk and garage groups have done for decades, but they have offered a different point of view, much more pop, being faithful to their sound of bright melodies, hedonistic attitude and songs full of sunlight, love and youth, capable of recharging your day with positive energies. I heard of The Yellow Melodies after my friends Anna Piella Castells and Alfredo Cordeiro sent this great CD.
I looked from The Yellow Melodies site that their first release was published in 2002.
