Fans, at first I've to tell that there's coming long waiting, 'cause Marky Ramone & The Speedkings are releasing this their debut album No If's, And's or But's! at end of October 2001. There's coming CD- and vinyl-versions.
Line-up on this album is: Marky Ramone (drums), Nick Cooper (guitar-vocals) and Steve Jay (bass).
Like you know Marky played drums on the Buckweeds' (Nick's previous band) last European tour and that's how Nick and Marky got hooked up together. It was good luck for both and also for us fans, you can hear it from this album!!!

true. Album sleeve is done by Eliott Mattice and it also shows
something.....First song tell a lot - Girls & Gasoline - of the Marky Ramone & The Speedkings. It contains lot faster aggressive parts without speed limits, but also couple slower "relax under the sun" parts. Saturday Night is more restful act and "snack"-type sing-along, Saturday Night is dedicated to a special NY-ladies Sheena and my friend Celine Ramone.
I Don't Care Anymore hits the head and during that song on gigs you can find yourself from crowd/moshpit area, with many hundreds other fans. Sex Phone Girls, you know what you get...!!!
Weenie Hair is one of my favourites and maybe the most many-sided song on this No If's, And's or But's! -album. On this Weenie Hair -song Nick articulate some middle parts really good way, can hear that man drink a lot Whisky (Nick tells that he can't never say no to the fabulous European (French) Tequila flavored beer DESPERADOS!) and his good self-confidence can hear from vocals also.
Most of these songs didn't sound like Ramones-songs, but sure you can find some connections. But also some solos... Ups Girl is Rancid type song and it takes only 1min 15secs, Also you can get from some songs many Offspring-feelings, but more fast and gasoline-smelled ways.
Nick wrote originally Teenage R'N'R Suicide -song a couple of years ago but now Marky Ramone & The Speedkings recorded it in a way more rockabilly version and this time the lyrics make more sense...
The song Manuelita was written for all the South American fans, Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma-Manuelita is mix of R'R, Cretin Hoppin' and Blitzkrieg Bop! R'N'Roll Asshole tell something of the attitude, and fans, don't understand wrong way this: Fuck You -attitude. Last songs are Fuck Shit Up and Fuck Me... You can check some middlefinger-pictures from their Yahoo-club and Nick hopes that all of you can help me get more "middlefinger"-pictures on the upcoming tour, can you wait it....
Some not mentioned songs are really related to cars and filled with full speed ahead -attitude. I can really assure that you can find from this album many touchy songs and more gears for your "rockin' punk cars"...
