This Ramones tribute album is released by Go-Kart Records (USA/EUROPE). It's titled Brats On The Beat: Ramones For Kids. CD contains Ramones classics sung by people like Jim Lindberg of the Pennywise, Blag Dahlia of The Dwarves, Nick Oliveri of the Mondo Generator/ ex-Queens Of The Stone Age etc. Songs have been "kidified" by the Gabba Gabba Hey Singers. Each song features kids singing all the choruses and background parts.
Ramones tribute band Gabba Gabba Heys play on all songs, and their ex-singer Spooney sing We Want the Airwaves. There's as well added instrumentation from Gene Troutman of Eagles Of Death Metal (percussion) and Charlie and Kelly from Goldfinger (extra guitar and bass). CD is produced by Jennifer Precious Finch, and she plays something as well. Jennifer's current band is The Schocker. In past she has been for example bassist and vocalist in L7 until 1996.
