Richard Lloyd is a founding member of the Television. He played a solo set. Television formed in 1973 in New York, USA, and played a lot with the Ramones at CBGB's etc. in 70's.

Joey's brother Mickey Leigh had negotiated also with Hugh Cornwell, Hugh coming to play a set. Hugh is best known for being the vocalist and guitarist for the The Stranglers from 1974 to 1990. By 1977 The Stranglers had secured a contract with the United Artists Records, they went on to become the highest selling band to emerge from the UK punk scene, with numerous hit singles and record album. Scoring some 23 UK top 40 singles and 17 UK top 40 albums...
The Ramones played with The Stranglers at The Roundhouse, London, UK in 1977. Hugh has recorded many solos as well. Mickey wrote some details to me in advance before this Joey Ramone Birthday Bash.
- Hugh Cornwell will be performing the classics that made that band legendary. Joining Hugh on drums is Elvis Ramone also (see photo in left, upmost), well known as Clem Burke of Blondie. On bass is Fish. Also will play Black 47, a revered NYC band Joey went to see frequently, and had even hoped to produce a record for, explains Mickey.

Also did play bands The Rattlers (Mickey's), Sunday Masquerade and The Indecent.
I do mention just in case, The Indecent is different band than The Independents who has played many times before at the Joey Ramone Birthday Bash (and whom members Evil and Willy B were Joey's really close friends).

MC's were Steve Craig, Matt Pinfield and John Holmstrom.
