MY COMMENTS:
The Ramones didn't the most influence and style band than the The
Tabloids, but Tabloids has created unique style and it what a best their
style really works. I can say honestly that I really liked of the tape. I
didn't never heard any band like Tabloids.
Slighty Suicidal starts greatly strong and make to feel that have to
listen exactly. Songs stump through. Lyrics are great. Second song
Clapping At Pictures is my favourite and it's just so wonderful containing
so unnormal solo part. At first style of songs was feelin so same, but now I think it's strenght for Tabloids, because
like I said I didn't have heard any even same style feelin like Tabloids
has made. And yet sound quality is well.
MICHAEL ROBINSON'S (Tabloids singer) COMMENTS WHY
THE
RAMONES ARE IMPORTANT ON SEVERAL LEVELS TO THE TABLOIDS:
The Ramones have always been one of the most honest bands around. And we
find sincerity one of the most important aspects of musical creation and
delivery. Of course, we'd love to be rich and famous but its more
important to be honest.
Also, the Ramones broke new ground with a distinctive, slightly raw sound.
And they weren't image-crazed pretty boys.
Futhermore, they are political in nature but very funny. I love their
sense of humor in songs like Beat on the Brat, We're a Happy Family, and
the KKK Took My Baby Away.
The politics of We Want the Airwaves is very important to me as an artist
and ranks along side Elvis Costello's Radio Radio as one of the all time
great indictments of a placid rock n' roll industry.
The Ramones are great songwriters. The Ramones, the Ramones really had
something to say. And they don't take themselves too seriously. At live
they put on an awesome show.
