MY COMMENTS:

Round & A Distant Few has combination of styles: old school punk, new wave, 77' style punk. Also some influences of goth and power pop. They are from Essexville, Michigan and Review Magazine choosed their to the best alternative band 1993. Band was created 1990.

After Ramones influence will say bands like D-Generation and Dead Boys. Sometimes feel like Dee Dee is singing some songs and other songs sound like Stiv Bators is still alive. Sound quality is good and band knows more than basic things of the playing. They don't try to play any stupid tricks, it's good because songs works well.

The opening track Rip Me Apart gives a good punk killer start for this 12-track cassette. About a half of the songs is about bad relationships and Ronnie has said that many of the songs are based on real life experience and feelings. Ronnie is pioneer musician and he has made music since he was 16 year old. He has made songs mostly with guitarist Neil Jones.

Hold Your Hand To Hell is like band's battle hymn of the year '77. Some slowly songs are maybe the most influenced from Ramones album: Pleasent Dreams. Many songs like Vampire are really beautiful and it's great to listen this style band.
I can recommend this cassette well.
