JOEY RAMONE AND CJ RAMONE TAKE PART ON INDEPENDENTS -BENEFIT GIG

Joey Ramone and CJ Ramone were doing a benefit show on July 22,1999 at Don Hill's, 511 Greenwich Street, corner of Spring. (at first show was in Coney Island High, but was moved due to the closing of Coney Island High). Show starts at 8:00pm. (212) 334-1390.

Some of the closest friends and supporters of the Independents are playing this to get the guys back outta the grave. Joan Jett & the Black Hearts, The Misfits, Blackfire, Ronnie Spector are some of the names so far on the bill also.

Reason is that The Independents van and trailer were stolen on May 25,1995 at 2:45 pm at Reyer Ave./ Bronx River Rd. in Yonkers NY. Everything the Ghouls owned (equipment to clothes) was Taken away within Minutes! The cops have found the van in New Rochelle NY. No word on it's condition yet. The trailer with all the equipment was not found with the van. Insurance companies are also putting up a fight Not to pay for ANYTHING!

The Independents -album Is still being worked on for release.The new date for release is July 22.**Anyone up in the NY area please keep a look out for the guys stuff in music stores and pawn shops. Joey Ramone has produced also Independents -releases etc.
