BRAZIL ON JULY 21, 2010

I attended CJ Ramone's show of the American Punk Tour in New Horizon,
Brazil on July 21, 2010. New Horizon is a very small and hot city with
30 000 people. I met CJ Ramone again and guitarist Daniel Rey
(has produced some Ramones records, Joey's first solo album etc.) also,
that
time I
introduced my son Gustavo (2,5 years) to them.
The venue was Experience Rock Bar, a very good place, capacity for 1000
people, has open air area and indoor area, cold beer, very good
equipments and filming system with eight cameras. That night there were
200 people approximately.
That show was the second of the Brazilian Tour, the musicians were 100%,
the public was very excited and CJ's voice was excellent.
The show started with Blitzkrieg Bop following by Judy Is A Punk, Beat
On The Brat, I Don't Wanna Walk Around With You and Endless Vacation.
Daniel Rey sang Pet Sematary. Later they played Sheena Is A Punk Rocker,
What's Your Game, Swallow My Pride, My Back Pages, Glad To See You Go,
Poison Heart (Daniel sang again), Sitting In My Room, Strength To
Endure, Listen To My Heart, Wart Hog, Commando, California Sun,
R.A.M.O.N.E.S. and Pinhead. In the encore the guys played I Wanna Be
Your Boyfriend, Teenage Lobotomy and I Wanna Be Sedated. The show was
great, they played a lot of songs from 70's and 80's that Ramones didn't
play at
live for a long time.
The new drummer, Michael Stamberg, is a nice person and played very
well. He is an excellent addition for the band.
The producer Andy Robbins is a cool person too and kind with the CJ's
fans.
In few weeks (early August, 2010) you can watch some videos from CJ show
in the Experience
Rock Bar site: www.tvexperience.com.br.
Helio says thanks to: CJ Ramone, Daniel Rey, Michael Stamberg, Andy
Robbins and Tirso Biasi (from Experience).
